Meet the President/CEO of
Wilkes Productions…

Dave Wilkes was raised in Philadelphia, PA USA. Attended the Federal Job Corps where he started a boxing career during the same time as fellow job corps student former heavyweight champ George Foreman. Deciding not to further his boxing career he returned home where he signed up for the US Army in the Vietnam era.

Upon leaving the army Dave started working for a soon to be well known singing group the fabulous “Ebonys”. When traveling with the Ebonys stopped Dave started college to continue his education in business administration and computer programming.

With his business and managing skills in tact along with his knowledge of the sport of boxing he began teaching kids how to box and become better individuals and citizens. Boxing was an ideal outlet to teach self-defense, self-respect, self-discipline, self-control, self-motivation and the importance of being physically fit.

This activity matured into the training and management of professional boxers. Not only did Dave teach them to box professionally he also managed and advised them in their career decisions.

During that time Dave also was booking singers and bands as well as other acts in the entertainment industry. The entertainment involvement progressed to the point were Dave had to start his own entertainment company. Thus, the emergence of Wilkes Productions an entertainment company not to be limited by any means. Developed as a full service entertainment company with the desire to assist new acts in getting exposure during their development stage as well as promote well-known acts.
