Words from the queen...
My name is Karen Darlene Montgomery. I am a proud mother of two and grandmother of an
adorable grandson. I have been employed for many years with the City of Philadelphia Department of Mental Health and I am
a graduate of LaSalle University where I majored in Social Work. Upon graduation from LaSalle in 2002, I pursued a Master's
Degree in Clinical Psychology with a long term goal of developing a private clinical practice for teens and young adults.
I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family, movies, modeling (Elite Modeling Agency) and working with children.
In addition, I am a proud representative of the Big Beautiful Women of Philadelphia. I was given the honor of being
selected as first runner- up in 1999, second runner-up in 2001, first runner-up in all the years to follow until being selected
(winner) Queen of the Big Beautiful Women Pageant sponsored by Wilkes Productions in 2003. The experience of being a participant and a winner in all the BBW pageants has truly been a blessing
in my life. The enjoyment of meeting and socializing with so many very beautiful people are memories that will certainly be
cherished throughout my lifetime. The Big Beautiful Women Pageant is truly one of the finer venues that strive to recognize
and promote the beauty, intelligence and classic style of the many plus size women of the world. I extend a sincere thank
you to Mr. Dave Wilkes and his staff at Wilkes Productions for such a wonderful and positive experience. May your work and
endeavors continue to provide positive incentives for yourself and others. Love and Blessing always!
