Deborah Wallace

Over the course of 20 years, Debbie Wallace, native New Yorker and single mom, developed a broad business, communications, wedding/event planning and decorating background. Today she is an entrepreneur of Elegant Affairs By Dee, LLC where she works as an independent wedding/event planner and decorator to a select group of clients, helping them reach their strategic goals and objectives as it pertains to creating successful events.   Debbie understands the importance of maintaining a balance of an ideal weight, exercise and healthy eating is key to having good health.  As support to herself and her fellow plus size audience, she also founded Large N Lovely Entertainment which is an organization that creates events, trips and all sorts of other activities in order to stimulate and encourage self-esteem, and educate the plus size audience about looking good while working at feeling good in the mind, body and soul.  The group is also a great clientele base for her to create beautiful décor and strategic planning for fun-filled entertaining events.  She is also the Founder of the Trenton Headquarters Chapter of Events By POC (People of Creativity), an organization of professional event provider's  purpose is to share ideas, knowledge, customers and more.  She worked as Verizon employee for over 17 years before retiring as a manager for Verizon’s Federal Communications Department as a Communications Consultant, providing high cap telecommunications services and products to the Federal government of PA/DE.  It was as if GOD has called upon her to perform in this task.  Her abilities to find a “needle in a haystack” have often been sought by her family, friends, co-workers and church members when it came to planning events.  Through hands on experience, Debbie planned over 50 events of all sorts in the early 1990’s before receiving formal education with Weddings Beautiful, the National Bridal Service Association; NYU’s Event Management Certificate Program, and one more semester to go to complete her bachelors in Business Admin with a concentration in Event Management from SUNY-Empire State College.   She has developed a passion and flair for turning events into elegant affairs to remember.  It is that same passion that inspired her to retire from Verizon as a Manager to work full-time for herself.  Debbie was recently crowned  BBW Queen 2005 for her wonderful balloon arrangement demonstration for the Wilkes Productions BBW Pageant.  Her involvement with the pageant not only won her the crown, but also offered her many opportunities, such as: to speak, model, and conduct business with other businesses and individuals.   She aspires to have multiple locations for her business, "Elegant Affairs", in NY, NJ, PA, DE, & MD.
